Oncology, Grief and Bereavement Support

I have seven years of experience supporting cancer patients and their loved ones. I can help you navigate the oncology world and cope with feelings that arise from cancer, both as a patient and as a caregiver. Additionally, therapy can help start or continue your healing process if you have ever lost a loved one to cancer. Grief never goes away, but with the right tools, you can still find joy in remembering your loved one.

Healthcare Professionals

As a medical social worker, I have a strong interest in offering a therapeutic space for medical professionals, especially given the challenges of navigating a global pandemic. It is no surprise that healthcare workers are often the last people to seek support because we dedicate our lives to putting others first. It is time to prioritize your own mental health in order to be present for those you care for.

Filipinx American community

As a daughter of Filipino immigrants, I hope to invite my fellow pinays/pinoys/pinxys to start the healing process with our family members. Children of immigrants can easily brush off uncomfortable feelings because we were taught to internalize rather than seek outside help, ultimately creating a sense of intergenerational trauma. There can be balance in preserving our Filipino culture and advocating for non-toxic communication with our families. Conversations with our family do not have to be hurtful or passive aggressive. Creating healthy boundaries and understanding our elders are essential for multigenerational resilience.

Parenting Support

With experience in the pediatric field and as a new mother, I also have interest in supporting parents. Parenting can bring out both the best and worst in us. I believe that taking care of our own mental well-being as parents will allow us to be at our best for our children.
